The daughter of Jude Law and Sadie Frost debuted her new buzz cut for the magazine on Thursday July 1st. Getting into the role of the punk icon was a brave decision Soo Catwomanwho was known for making her short hair with black sides look like cat ears.
Iris, 20, has already started filming her first acting project, FX’s Pistol, which is about the English punk rock band the. goes Sex guns and based on guitarist Steve Jones‘Memoirs Lonely Boy: Tales from a Sex Pistol. (The miniseries also plays Game of Thones’ Maisie Williamswho “got really close” to Iris on set.)
Announcing she was initially concerned that she would have to shave her head for the role, she told UK Vogue, “What if I have to shave my hair?” But, as she recalls, “when the wig became an option, I was almost disappointed that I didn’t have to.”
