Marilyn Manson spent time in a police jail last week after surrendering to Los Angeles police in response to an out of state arrest warrant for an alleged spitting act.
The 52-year-old rocker, whose maiden name is Brian Warner, faces two Class A assault charges following the reported incident involving a videographer during a performance in Gilford, New Hampshire in 2019. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department inmate records show that Manson was incarcerated in an LA jail on July 2.
Anthony J. Bean Burpee, Gilford Police Chief, said E! News in a statement made on Thursday, July 8th, that the rocker turned himself in to LA authorities in connection with the 2019 arrest warrant for actions allegedly taking place at the New Hampshire concert. Manson has been processed and released on bail, the police chief said.
Burpee added: “As an agency, we are delighted with Mr. Warner’s decision to finally address the arrest warrant that has been outstanding since 2019.”
