Is the world ready for another Black Widow?
Kate Shumskaya, an influencer best known for her TikTok videos, is exploding on the platform because she bears an uncanny resemblance to her Scarlett Johansson. The doppelganger has more than six million followers on the platform and over 70 million likes for her videos.
She even cosplayed as Scarlett’s characters, often dressing up as Black Widow character Natalia Alianovna Romanoff while engaging in normal activities. Most recently, she shared several videos in which she interacts with other Marvel characters using trending TikTok sounds in the process. Kate apparently built a brand on her look similar to Scarlett. The influencer’s Instagram biography even says: “The illegitimate daughter of Scarlett Johansson”.
While it’s unknown if Scarlett is being alerted to her doppelganger on TikTok, the A-listener’s career is busier than ever. Her Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Black Widow, just hit theaters, and the film’s credits may have just been teasing a spin-off TV show that she could star in.
