The critically acclaimed anthology series Modern Love returns to Amazon Prime Video on Friday, August 13th with a new all-star cast – including many of our celebrity crushes. Kit Harington advertises Lucy Boynton during a train ride across the country in Ireland, and Garrett Hedlund and Anna Paquin spark an on-screen romance. Meanwhile, Minnie driver gives a heartbreaking achievement as a woman who has lost the love of her life.
“This season, love is breaking all the rules,” says the official press release. “Each episode shows love in all of its intricate and beautiful forms.”
The second season of Modern Love is based on eight real life love stories, inspired by the famous New York Times column of the same name. From a formerly married couple getting back together, to two friends testing their friendship, to a remarkably memorable one-night stand, the series explores missed connections, betrayal and of course the triumph of love.
