Virgin River is back and may have outdone itself.
The Netflix drama has returned for season three and again ends on a shocking note, even if no one is in mortal danger (at least we hope not). In fact, this cliffhanger could actually have a much bigger impact than Jack (Martin Henderson) is shot in his kitchen, depending on which direction the authors choose. Season four (assuming there’s one) is going to be either really cute or really weird.
Basically Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) is pregnant and the father is either Jack or her dead husband. She and Jack split briefly in the middle of the season, and that sent Mel to LA and the clinic that kept her dead husband’s frozen semen. It wasn’t entirely clear if she made it through to that final admission, and now we really wonder about Mel’s sanity and wellbeing.
“She wants a baby so badly that she goes to the fertility clinic and gets inseminated with her dead husband’s semen,” Breckenridge repeated to E! News. “That’s a big thing for a person to go out and do.”
Can you say it out loud.
