Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are happy everywhere, especially now in newly wed bliss.
The superstar couple, who first met on the set of The Voice in 2014, tied the knot in an intimate ceremony held eight months after their engagement over the weekend of July 4th. Just as Stefani started wondering when the big question would come, the “God’s Country” singer got on his knees and suggested while the “Cool” artist visited his Oklahoma ranch.
“Hey @gwenstefani, thank you for saving my 2020 … and the rest of my life … I love you,” he wrote on Instagram next to a photo of their engagement party. “I heard a YES!” Stefani replied: “@blakeshelton yes please!”
Although Stefani said she didn’t see the moment coming, the milestone was hardly shocking to fans considering how much the couple raved about each other throughout their relationship. Indeed, Stefani who shares three children with ex Gavin Rossdale, recently gave a heartwarming greeting to Shelton in celebration of Father’s Day. “Happy Father’s Day to the most generous, patient, funny guy I know,” she wrote in a June 20 Instagram post alongside photos of Shelton and her sons Kingston, fifteen, Zuma, 12, and Apollo, 7, “we love you so much @blakeshelton gx.”
