On Thursday, July 1st, the artist’s partner, Valentina FerrerShe shared a photo of the newborn’s foot on Instagram and wrote “4 days of best love”.
According to a source, the two named their little boy Riowhich the artist apparently confirmed on Twitter. On June 27, J Balvin tweeted: “Querido Rio”. And his friend Zion wrote on Valentina’s post, “Cheers To Rio From Uncle Z.”
This baby news comes two months after the duo first confirmed Valentina’s pregnancy with a photo series in Vogue Mexico that showed the former Miss Argentina’s growing baby bump.
At that time, Valentina posted the photo of the cover story on her Instagram with the headline “Se va agrandado la familia”, which translates as “The family is growing”. While the stars, who first met on the set of J Balvin’s music video “Sigo Extrañándote” in 2017, largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight, Valentina shared her hope of becoming a mother in a 2018 interview. “I want to have a big family – three or four children,” she told the New York Post at the time. “I’m a simple girl.”
