Three Methods to Use Dealer Joe’s Candy & Savory Tomato Unfold

If my shopping cart can be counted as a case study, it is safe to say that Trader Joe’s makes the most money on impulse buying. “Yeah, I needed some new kitchen towels.” “I wonder how that would taste on popcorn.” Mood odyssey! ”Are all pretty normal examples of what goes on my mind as I stroll through their corridors. I usually buy at least three things that I didn’t intend. This is how I recently came across a glass of Sweet & Savory Tomato Spread.

Illustration for article titled Three Ways To Use Trader Joe's Sweet & Savory Tomato Spread

I wish I could say I loved it. The spread – basically tomato jam – is advertised as a “delicious, hearty counterpoint to cheese and cold cuts or roasted meat and vegetables”, but it is not at all tasty. It’s sweet, almost sweet, with no noticeable salt and not nearly enough acidity. It’s jammy but not good, and the overwhelming amount of sugar obscures any brightness you could hope for in a tomato-based product.

That doesn’t mean it’s completely useless – it’s not bad when paired with an aggressively spicy cheese or charred piece of super-salty meat – but it’s best when mixed with lots of acid, hot mustard, and / or ethanol is combined. These ingredients suppress the syrupy sweetness and allow the tomato to breathe and glow. Here are my three favorite ways to use TJ’s tomato spread, especially if – like me – you don’t like it that much.

Make a cocktail

I am not a stranger Jam cocktailsbut my usual ratio of 2 ounces of alcohol, 3 tablespoons of jam, and 1/2 ounce of lemon juice didn’t quite match with this particular spread. The cocktail I made with these measurements was – much like me – way too thick and sweet. Fortunately, this was easy to fix: I reduced the jam and increased the vodka and lemon to make a fresh, sweet, flavorful cocktail that tasted like it came from the garden. To do it you will need:

  • 2 1/2 ounces of vodka
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Trader Joe’s Sweet & Tangy Tomato Spread
  • 3/4 ounces of fresh lemon juice

Pour everything into an empty cocktail shaker and shake to dissolve the jam. Add ice and shake again to cool. Double strain through a sieve in a cocktail glass. Garnish with a cherry tomato if you have it.

Whip up a vinaigrette

While the spread isn’t as “sweet and flavorful” as it claims, a bunch of apple cider vinegar can fix this. This dressing is cheerful, nimble, and absolutely perfect for a crispy, carrot-heavy coleslaw. To do it you will need:

  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons Trader Joe’s Sweet & Tangy Tomato Spread
  • 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard

Add it all to one jugClose the lid and shake until the bandage is emulsified. Pour on a pile of raw plant pieces.

Glaze the meat a little

Illustration for article titled Three Ways To Use Trader Joe's Sweet & Savory Tomato SpreadPhoto: Claire Lower

Mixing half a cup of jam with a quarter cup of mustard makes a really excellent glaze for roast meat – this is one case where the candy-like taste of this spread is beneficial. Just mix the two ingredients together (I would use a very hot mustard here) and brush up some chicken, pork, or lamb before frying. I especially like it chicken.

Bitcoin (BTC) worth surpasses $ 1 trillion for the second time

Bitcoin’s value surpassed $ 1 trillion on Tuesday as the price of the cryptocurrency jumped.

The price of the digital coin spiked Tuesday and its market cap was over $ 1 trillion in Singapore morning trading, according to CoinDesk.

Bitcoin extended those gains, hitting a 24-hour high of $ 54,029.85 around 11:35 a.m. Singapore time, around 7% more than at the same time the day before. Bitcoin has since reduced some of those gains.

It’s only the second time Bitcoin’s value has exceeded $ 1 trillion after first hitting that milestone on February 19th. Bitcoin’s market cap was over $ 1 trillion for a few days before falling below this mark.

Although Bitcoin is deviating from its all-time high of $ 58,332.36, it has seen a huge rally. The digital currency is up over 80% this year and up 570% in the last 12 months.

Bitcoin’s rally has been attributed to a number of factors, including participation from larger institutional investors and some notable corporate purchases. Tesla, Square, and Microstrategy are among the companies that bought Bitcoin.

On Sunday, a Chinese appmaker named Meitu said he had not only bought bitcoin, but also bought another cryptocurrency called ether. According to CoinDesk, Ether, a cryptocurrency that runs on the Ethereum network, traded at $ 1,836.73 around 10:41 a.m. Singapore time, up nearly 7% from the previous day.

Companies are also making acquisitions in the cryptocurrency space. PayPal announced on Monday that it would buy the cryptocurrency security firm Curv.

Proponents of Bitcoin often compare it to “digital gold”, a hedge against inflation and a potential “safe haven” where investors can park their money in times of political or economic turmoil.

Some argue that loose monetary policies like low interest rates and asset purchases by central banks around the world undermine the value of fiat currencies like the US dollar and bitcoin and are a better alternative for investment.

Hin Leong Buying and selling is slated to formally shut, Cash Information

0

SINGAPORE – The High Court has given the green light to the dissolution of Hin Leong Trading, marking the end of the road for the collapsed oil trading giant after almost a year of restructuring.

In a hearing on Monday morning (March 8) before Supreme Court Justice Kannan Ramesh, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Advisory Services’ judicial managers Goh Thien Phong and Chan Kheng Tek were appointed liquidators of Hin Leong.

They filed for the liquidation of Hin Leong after three potential bidders withdrew from a deal to buy Hin Leong and two affiliates as a combined entity.

The sale of Hin Leong, its shipping company Ocean Tankers, and Lim’s family-owned Xihe Holdings as a combined company would have helped regain more than the company’s estimated $ 257 million (S $ 347 million) in net worth, according to Bloomberg . Liquidating a company usually results in a fire sale of its assets, which raises less money than a formal bidding process.

Hin Leong, once one of Asia’s top oil traders, collapsed last year after falling oil prices triggered a default that exposed years of hidden losses and alleged fraud by its founder Lim Oon Kuin – better known as OK Lim – and son Evan Lim, Chee Meng and his daughter Lim Huey Ching.

PwC filed a lawsuit last August to compel Lim and his two children to repay the $ 3.5 billion debt and $ 90 million dividends they allegedly paid themselves, though their company was insolvent. PwC alleged they violated their fiduciary duties as directors and engaged in fraudulent trades.

Suspected fraudulent activities included “creating fictitious profits to cover up accumulated trade and other losses, forging documents, tampering with Hin Leong’s accounts through irregular accounting entries, overvaluing Hin Leong’s inventory and raising funds through inappropriateness Means “according to the lawsuit.

HSBC, Hin Leong’s largest creditor with roughly $ 600 million, also took legal action against the family, followed by the Bank of China. According to estimates given in court records last year, DBS, ABN Amro Bank, and OCBC Bank are each owed about $ 200 to $ 300 million.

During Monday’s hearing, the Lim family objected to the judicial managers ‘appointment as liquidators, citing a conflict of interest because they could not objectively review the judicial managers’ fees.

Instead, the family proposed Messrs. Henry Tan and Chan Yee Hong of Nexia TS as liquidators of the company.

[[nid:503353]]]

However, the JM’s attorneys argued that there was no conflict of interest as the fees were being reviewed by the court and creditors.

The liquidators will continue the lawsuit against the Lim family, collect claims from counterparties, and dispose of Hin Leong’s remaining assets, including an industrial building on Playfair Road, ST understands.

Another problem that has yet to be resolved is the significant amount of oil cargo that is still stored in tanks at the Universal Terminal. These are under a court order that a believer has received, ST understands. The Lim family managed and owned 41 percent of the Universal Terminal through Universal Group Holdings.

Hin Leong has between 10 and 15 workers who are still needed to help with the liquidation process, ST understands.

Did the Bachelor mainly inform us who’s already successful?

Nothing like a fantasy suite week where we feel like a strange mixture of powerlessness and discomfort.

The bachelor star Matt James I just invited his last three wives to spend the night with him off camera, and while he was having a great time with all three of them, there was one who felt she got a lot more attention than the other two. And we’re not happy about it.

This season continued the new tradition of having the women hang around in the same room before and after their fantasy suite appointments, which means we can see how they react to each other’s comings and goings. That meant that when Michelle and Bri came and went on their fantasy suite appointments with Matt, they panicked Rachael.

When Matt and Michelle were having a spa day in a tub full of milk, we saw Rachael freak out because Matt was with another woman. When Matt and Bri pitched a tent, Rachael freaked out because Matt was with another woman. Then when Rachael and Matt were trying to make some ceramics, we saw Rachael freak out because Matt was with other women.

Clear these things when it is time to throw away your toothbrush

The average toothbrush, according to the Aurora Dental Group lasts three months. After 90 days, you should swap yours for a new one provided you take care of your oral hygiene. But don’t just throw that old brush away – or at least not right away. First, use it to scrub the hard-to-clean areas of your home that don’t always get enough attention. Here are five ways you can make good use of your old toothbrush before you send it to the landfill.

Clean the nooks and crannies of your car

Cleaning your car usually consists of a good wash and a vacuum cleaner inside. The smaller crevices of the car are overlooked. Reader’s Digest suggests using a toothbrush to clean your car’s notoriously small air vents. Cleaning between the vents can be difficult with just a rag, but toothbrush bristles are easier to penetrate and loosen dirt and dust.

Housekeeping Page A good thing also recommends using a toothbrush to clean your car’s vinyl seat covers and other plastic surfaces. With circular movements, the small bristles remove deeply rooted dirt and loosen plaque on your teeth.

Clean your faucets and grout

Mold and debris quickly develop around your bathroom (and kitchen) faucets, causing a strange movie that can sometimes be difficult to remove with a rag or sponge. Bringing a toothbrush to your faucets can release stubborn powdery mildew and coarse debris. The small head carefully removes the gap between the faucet fittings and the rubber connections.

Your toothbrush, which needs replacing, can also act as a reminder to clean the grout in your bathroom. I’ve gone through numerous scrubbers looking for the perfect brush to get between the tiles in my bathroom, but the perfect solution was right under my nose: using an old toothbrush is a tedious but effective way to clean up the grout in your Distribute bathrooms to thoroughly clean walls and floors until you replace your next one.

Illustration for article titled Clean These Items When It's Time to Throw Away Your Toothbrush

Refresh your devices

Replacing a toothbrush can also be a reminder to clean the hidden parts of your appliances that you normally don’t think of: your dishwasher’s filters, gaskets on your washing machine, and small kitchen appliances like your cheese grater and garlic press.Very efficient at collecting small bits of food and debris in cracks and crevices that are difficult to reach with a sponge or paper towel.

Use it in your home office

The New York Post 30% of Americans have lunch while they work. Now that our desk chairs are also our sofas and armchairs, they are prone to lunchtime accidents. I’ve tried using OxiClean in a spray bottle and scrubbing with a sponge, but nothing targets the stains like the little head of a toothbrush.

You can also use a toothbrush to gently clean your computer keyboard and get between the keys faster than a Q-Tip and more efficiently than a traditional duster.

Make your personal belongings look new

Sneakerheads long understood the practical uses of a discarded toothbrush. Not only can you use a toothbrush to clean the rubber and leather areas, but you can also make it easier to scrub the laces. Just remove them and run the toothbrush on both sides with soap and water. The New York Times notes: “The best tool for cleaning leather uppers, midsoles and outsoles is an old toothbrush with soft bristles.”

The worn bristles are also a delicate option for cleaning jewelry. A toothbrush is perfect for getting into the small corners and the fine filigree of your pearl earrings or rings set with precious stones. This will save you money and a trip to the jewelers.

The WHO scientist warns that the world is at a “very dangerous” stage as increasingly circumstances of Covid are rising

0

The world needs to step up its efforts to fight Covid-19 – and countries must not give up their vigilance, the World Health Organization’s chief scientist warned on Monday as coronavirus cases rise around the world.

“We are in a very risky phase,” said Dr. Soumya Swaminathan from the World Health Organization. “We have to double up, this is not the time to slack off.”

The WHO warned last week that the number of new Covid-19 cases is increasing with declines worldwide after six consecutive weeks. More than 2.6 million new cases were reported in the last week of February, a 7% increase from the previous week, according to the health department.

The Eastern Mediterranean, Southeast Asia, Europe and America all recorded increases of between 6% and 14%.

Although vaccines are on the rise for us in the nation, we cannot give up our vigilance.

Julie Morita

Robert Wood Johnson Foundation

“This is partly due to lockdown fatigue, you know. It’s because people … may loosen up believing vaccines are on the way,” Swaminathan told CNBC’s Squawk Box Asia on Monday. New variants could also play a role, she added.

“We have to … do everything we know to keep these viruses under control, keep transmission under control until we have enough vaccines,” she said, warning health systems could become overloaded again.

“Health workers around the world are exhausted, they have been battling it for over a year now,” she added.

Other health professionals have also suggested that it is not time to get complacent.

Julie Morita, executive vice president of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, said it was important to realize that infections, hospitalizations and deaths are still high even after falling from their peaks in the US

“It is still necessary that we wear our masks, social distance, avoid large crowds while we are vaccinated,” she told CNBC’s Street Signs Asia on Monday.

“Although vaccines are on the rise for us in the nation, we cannot give up our vigilance,” she said. “It’s way too early to relax.”

Learn how to import passwords from CSV recordsdata into Edge Chromium

0

Microsoft is testing the ability to import passwords and credentials into Edge Chromium using comma separated values (CSV) files. Edge already lets you import passwords from other browsers or by syncing password manager app data. However, the simplified CSV option was recently released in Edge Canary version 90.

As the name of the format suggests, all information in a CSV file is separated by commas. In this case, the credentials will include a website’s URL, the username associated with the website, and the account’s password – all broken down into sections. Some password managers allow you to export your data as CSV files or create your own data in your favorite spreadsheet app like Excel or Google Sheets, or with a text editor like Notepad. You can also password protect and encrypt CSV files.

Before Microsoft added the .CSV option, users had to use tortuous workarounds to import .CSV data into Edge on Desktop and Android. These tricks still work if you don’t want to download Edge Canary – it’s less stable than the public version, after all. At some point, the CSV import option should find its way to the stable version, but we’ll show you how to try the feature out early on.

How to import CSV password files to Edge

Before you can import a CSV file, you need to enable the feature in Edge Canary’s experimental flags menu.

SpaceX goals to attach Starlink satellite tv for pc web to transferring autos

0

A Starlink user terminal is set up.

SpaceX

SpaceX plans to begin connecting large vehicles – from trucks to jets to ships – to its Starlink satellite internet network, as the company has applied to the Federal Communications Commission.

“This application would serve the public interest by approving a new class of ground-based components for SpaceX’s satellite system that will expand the range of broadband capabilities required for moving vehicles in the United States and for moving ships and planes around the world SpaceX Director of Satellite Policy David Goldman wrote in a letter to the FCC on Friday.

Starlink is the company’s capital-intensive project to build an interconnected internet network of thousands of satellites, known in the aerospace industry as a Constellation, designed to deliver high-speed internet to consumers around the world.

To date, SpaceX has launched more than 1,100 satellites for Starlink. In October, SpaceX began rolling out an early service in a public beta for customers in the US, Canada and the UK. The service costs $ 99 per month. In addition, SpaceX informed the FCC in an update at the end of January that the Starlink beta now has more than 10,000 users.

The Starlink service also includes a $ 499 upfront cost for the hardware needed to connect to the network. It is known as the Starlink Kit and contains a user terminal (the small, bowl-like antenna) and a wireless router.

SpaceX did not specify in its filing on Friday whether the Starlink user terminals for moving vehicles will have a different design than the dishes currently being delivered to early customers. According to SpaceX, each “ESIM” or “Earth Station In Motion” is “electrically identical to previously authorized consumer devices”, with additional “brackets that allow them to be installed on vehicles, ships and airplanes”.

The company also stated that it will “ensure” the installation of the vehicle terminals by “qualified installers”. While SpaceX didn’t say whether these installers would be employees of the company, it continues to expand Starlink’s manufacturing and operations – including plans for a new equipment factory in Austin, Texas.

Elon Musk’s space company last year asked the FCC for permission to conduct experimental tests on private jets and their fleet of ships. However, Friday’s request is a much broader “blanket license” to operate. SpaceX noted that the FCC rules “do not require applicants to submit a maximum number of user terminals to be deployed”. Therefore, the company did not specify how many vehicle terminals it would like to build.

SpaceX also noted that for US aircraft flying into another country’s airspace, the company will secure its Starlink service operators under either FCC or the other country’s rules, “whichever is more stringent.”

The company highlighted the need for “on-the-go connectivity” to drive expansion to mobile Internet services, and Director Goldman gave examples of US truckers, European freighters and international flights as an indication of the need for global connectivity.

The rising demand for data from the automotive sector is an area that Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas has highlighted as a target market for Starlink. During a conference call for Tesla investors last year, Jonas Musk asked if the CEO was considering adding Starlink terminals to Tesla vehicles. While Musk said there were “no plans” for it in 2020, he conceded that “it is certainly something that could happen in the years to come”.

In a tweet on Monday, Musk clarified that SpaceX “doesn’t connect Tesla cars to Starlink” with the ESIM terminals, noting that the “terminal is way too big”.

“This is for planes, ships, large trucks, and RVs,” Musk said.

“This application takes the next step by gaining authority on ESIMs that enable this network to expand from homes and offices to vehicles, ships and planes,” said Goldman. “These services will improve the security of mobile platforms and give operators and passengers access to services that enable greater productivity.”
