Faulkner said Josh was a registered member and his pregnant wife. Anna Duggarreceived reports of its online activity. However, Faulkner claimed that Josh’s activity was not monitored by the program because he was using a password-protected network.
At Wednesday’s hearing, a judge granted Josh bail on condition that he stayed with the Rebers, who are friends of the Duggar family and have agreed to be his third party administrators. In addition, he is monitored with a GPS anklet, he cannot access the internet and he can visit with his children while his wife monitors, among other things.
Josh pleaded not guilty on Friday, April 30th, of once receiving child pornography and once possessing child pornography.
At the time of his indictment, he was the US Chief Justice Erin L. Wiedemann said Josh would not be allowed to live with underage children if he was given bail.
His attorneys spoke out against the verdict in an appeal filed Tuesday, May 4th and submitted by E! News. His attorneys asked the judge to allow Josh’s bail release on “a combination of conditions”, adding, “Duggar is asking this court to allow him to return to his immediate family while this case is pending.”
