Bongs can get pretty gross. After prolonged use, resin will start to build up and with the amount of mouth breathing you can imagine what is getting caught in the crevices. Cleaning a bong might seem difficult at first, but a little alcohol, salt, and a good shake will loosen and remove resin and dirt.

Take a quarter of a cup of both 99 percent isopropyl alcohol and rock salt (Dimensions vary for the size of your piece). Pour the solution into the bong, making sure all openings are covered, and shake it until the resin begins to loosen. Rinse and let dry before next use. You can also clean a Weed pipe with the same technique and solution in a Ziploc bag.
