Beyoncé made history during today’s 2021 Grammy Awards by breaking the record for most artist wins and most singer wins in Grammys history.

Before tonight (March 14, 2020) country singer Alison Krauss held the record for the most awarded female artist with 27 victories. Bey took home four trophies and brought them to 28, which linked her to the legendary artist and record producer Quincy Jones. The most distinguished person in Grammys history is the late conductor Georg Solti at 31.

Among today’s awards, Bey won for “Black Parade”, “Best Rap Song” and “Best Rap Performance” for her “Savage” remix with “Best R&B Performance” Megan Thee stallion and best music video for “Brown Skin Girl”.

Bey lost Best R&B Song to HER & Meshell Ndegeocello“Better Than I Imagined” and record of the year for “Black Parade” too Billie Eilish‘s “Everything I Ever Wanted.”
