drake‘s fans are in their feelings about the rapper’s new album, which apparently makes it clear that he is not of his longstanding tension with it Kanye West.
On Friday September 3rd, Drake, 34, released his long-awaited album Certified Lover Boy, which arrived less than a week after Kanye’s latest album, Donda. A number of Drake fans have expressed their belief on social media that the lyrics of a CLB track prompted Kanye to say that he had apparently shared Drake’s Toronto address publicly last month.
The obvious appeal is on Drake’s new song “7am On Bridle Path,” the title of which appears to refer to Toronto’s upscale Bridle Path neighborhood, where Drake owned a house. Drake sang, “You know the fourth level of jealousy is called media / Isn’t that an ironic revelation? / Give this address to your driver, make it your destination / ‘Instead of just a mail out of desperation.”
He continued on the trail, “That I have reached the deepest state of my meditation / Why are you over there trying to impress the nation?”
