Floribama Shores Nilsa Prowant offers beginning to the primary child

0

There’s a new little one on the bank.

Floribama Shore’s Nilsa Prowant greeted their first baby, a boy, with a friend Gus Gazda on Thursday May 20th. The couple named their newborn son Gray.

“31 hours of work to get you here and I would do it all for you all over again,” she wrote on Instagram. “Gray Allen Gazda was born on May 20, 2021 at 1:56 am. 7 pounds 14 ounces 19 and 1/2 inches long. He is perfectly perfect in every way. We are so blessed!”

She added, “That’s all I’ve always wanted to have a family of my own with the man of my dreams.”

26-year-old Nilsa first announced that she was expecting a young child last December, with an Instagram post in which Gus weighed her baby bump. She labeled the picture, which also had a sign announcing that the baby was due in May 2021: “Even in the darkest of times, the Lord still shines his light. Our greatest adventure is just around the corner.”

Right here is your COVID vaccine rumor recap

0

The vaccine ingredient lists are simple and straightforward, with no ingredients that are considered to be a significant threat to human health, and no aluminum, mercury, or human cells. The ingredient lists for both mRNA vaccines contain only three types of ingredients:

  • the mRNA
  • Lipids with very long names (these are basically fancy oils and they form the coating around the mRNA)
  • Sugars, salts and / or simple chemical buffers

In the Pfizer vaccine, the third category includes potassium chloride, monobasic potassium phosphate, sodium chloride, dibasic sodium phosphate dihydrate, and sucrose. These may sound scientific, but you probably have three of them in your kitchen (sucrose is sugar, sodium chloride is salt, and potassium chloride is sodium-free salt). Here is the fact sheet for the Pfizer vaccinethat contains the list of ingredients.

The Moderna vaccine consists of different ingredients, but with the same formula. In addition to the mRNA and lipids, it contains tromethamine, tromethamine hydrochloride, acetic acid, sodium acetate and sucrose. Again, these are extremely common, simple ingredients in medicinal solutions. Tromethamine is just Tris buffer that you may have used in science class. Acetic acid is the acidic component of vinegar. Sucrose is sugar. Here is the information sheet for the Moderna vaccine.

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine contains the adenovirus with the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein, salts, ethanol (alcohol), a preservative called polysorbate-80, and a chemical called 2-hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin, which make the vaccine components work properly mixed holds. Here is the fact sheet for that Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Even before COVID, there was a lot of misinformation about vaccines. Sometimes people heard that a certain ingredient was in some vaccines and concluded that it must be in all vaccines. Like mercury, which is found in very few vaccines. (It used to be more.) Let’s go over a couple of things that aren’t in the COVID vaccine:

  • The COVID vaccines do not contain aluminum or mercury.
  • The COVID vaccines do not contain any preservatives (except for polysorbate-80 in J&J).
  • The COVID vaccines do not contain fetal cells.
  • The COVID vaccines do not contain microchips.

There are no fetal cells in the COVID vaccines

Some vaccines are developed in cell lines grown in laboratories, and in some cases these cells are derived from cells originally grown from human fetal tissue. This has led to a myth that “pieces of aborted babies” are in vaccines, which is not true at all.

The Pfizer and Moderna COVID vaccines are not grown in fetal or other cells. Remember, they’re just an mRNA. Laboratory machines can synthesize these without the involvement of cells. Both Pfizer and Moderna used some fetal cell lines for some of the tests they did when developing the vaccine, but not for making the vaccine itself.

Although the Johnson & Johnson vaccine uses a fetal cell line in its manufacture, there are no fetal cells in the vaccines themselves. Also, to be very clear, making the vaccine does not require the collection of new fetal cells. The cells are grown in the laboratory and come from an 18-week fetus that ended in 1985.

If this is a problem for you or your loved ones, it will be approved by the Pope Declaration by the American Bishops’ Conference can help understand how a vaccine tested on fetal cell lines fits into an anti-abortion religious framework. The bishops argue that the “distant link” of vaccine development with abortion should not undermine the fact that “safe vaccination against COVID-19 should be viewed as an act of love for our neighbor and part of our moral responsibility for the common good. ”(The same group recommends that Catholics choose the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines whenever possible.)

Israel and Hamas agree to finish the ceasefire over the Gaza battle

WASHINGTON – Israel’s security cabinet voted in favor of a provisional ceasefire on Thursday after 11 days of fighting with Hamas in Israel and the Gaza Strip.

The Hamas official confirms that a “mutual and simultaneous” ceasefire with Israel will begin at 2:00 am on Friday

The White House is expected to respond to the news shortly.

The news follows a call Wednesday between President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. During the call, Biden said he expected “significant de-escalation” of the violence, according to the White House report.

It was their fourth conversation since violence broke out between Israel and Hamas last week.

The tone from Washington to Tel Aviv has grown impatient in recent days as the death toll in Gaza from Israeli air strikes surpassed 200, including more than 100 women and children. In Israel, 12 people were killed by rockets fired by Hamas on Thursday afternoon.

The latest round of fighting was the worst outbreak of violence since the war between Israel and Hamas in 2014.

The White House has followed what it calls “calm, intense diplomacy” behind the scenes.

“We have received over 60 calls from the President downwards to senior leaders in Israel, the Palestinian Authority and other leaders in the region since the conflict began,” White House deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters on Wednesday.

“The President has been doing this for a long time, for decades, he believes this is the approach we need to take,” she added.

Biden appeared unwilling to publicly pressure Netanyahu to stop air strikes on what Israel says are military targets embedded in civilian neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip.

As a result, progressive Democrats in Congress and US allies abroad have urged the president to take on a more visible role and put more diplomatic pressure on Israel, which is heavily dependent on the United States for weapons and military equipment.

In Tel Aviv on Wednesday, Netanyahu briefed foreign diplomats and ambassadors on the worsening violence and reiterated previous claims that the Israeli military “is trying to attack” those who attack us with great precision.

“There is no army in the world that does more than the Israeli army, in the Israeli security services and in the Israeli intelligence service to prevent collateral damage,” said Netanyahu.

Hopkins data shows that case numbers nationwide have been mostly down from the last peak about a month ago in mid-April, when the country had more than 71,000 cases per day. The last 7-day average of new infections every day is 30,300.

Dr. White House chief medical officer Anthony Fauci said Wednesday that infections are decreasing in every state.

Fauci did not provide the length of time over what period these declines in state-level infections have occurred. A CNBC analysis of the Hopkins data shows the average daily case number in 38 states has decreased by 5% or more over the past week.

The right way to get iOS notifications to your Oculus Quest

Getting started with virtual reality is fun, but it can also be productive: I’ve found lately that it’s a pretty decent way to work out quickly. However, when I strap on a VR headset, I have to detach myself from my phone and miss all of the sparkling messages my friends send me – or at least. If you’re an Oculus Quest owner, you can now send all of your iPhone’s notifications straight to your virtual screen (and Android users will soon have the option too).

To get started, you’ll need to be running Oculus System Software v29. To check if it’s you, just put on your headset and visit Settings> Info in the main Oculus interface. Any available system updates should be visible once your Oculus headset checks for them. You can download it and install it directly.

(For what it’s worth, I don’t have version 29 on my device yet as Facebook is happy to bring out these updates. Patience is also a virtual virtue.)

Once you have this update, visit the “Notifications” Section of the Oculus Quest or Quest 2 the settings Menu. There you will see a new option to enable: “IPhone notifications in VR.”

You need to install those too The eye of the app Finally, log into your Oculus account and activate notifications via your iPhone profile pic in the upper left corner > Account Settings> Notifications. During your stay, scroll through the many options available to determine which Oculus notifications you want to receive in VR and which you want to keep on your iPhone.

After that, your notifications will appear while you are in virtual reality, and you can also view them from a new “Phone” section on your device’s normal notifications screen.

The best way to clear your moveable fan as a result of it’s blowing gross air

Summer is almost here, and you know what that means: it’s time to turn off the boxing fans and wonder how on earth they’ve gotten dirtier since you last saw them. Hair, dirt, lint and all sorts of other things that are in the air build up on the fans over time – and if you don’t remove them, it all blows back on your face.

The good news is that most household fans are very easy to disassemble and clean, even if you’re not a great handyman. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver, a small bowl or bowl for the screws, two rags and some vinegar or detergent. An old toothbrush or small bottle brush can help you get into the nooks and crannies, but if you don’t have one, rags will do just fine.

You will be dealing with a lot of dust so I highly recommend cleaning your fans outside. (Seriously, stand on your stairs if you have to – it won’t take long.) Find the screws holding the screens in place, loosen them, and set the screens aside. Store the screws in a small bowl or bowl so they don’t roll off on you. Use a rag to wipe any dust and hair off the screens, blades, and other dirty-looking parts, shaking the excess in the breeze as you go. Once you’ve removed the solids, apply some vinegar to the other rag and attack what’s left. A few drops of washing-up liquid will dissolve the particularly stubborn grease. However, remove any soap residue thoroughly so it doesn’t attract more dust.

When everything has been scrubbed to your satisfaction, let the disassembled fan dry in the sun. If you don’t have an outdoor space to do this, dry everything off as best you can with a clean, dry towel. Now all you have to do is swap out the screens and screws and enjoy a fresh, clean breeze.

Depending on the type of trash in your home regularly, you may need to repeat this process once or twice during fan season – especially if it intersects with wildfires and forest fires DIY air purifier Season like here in Portland. But once you’ve seen how easy it is to clean a fan, you’ll never let your fan get hopelessly grody again.

The S&P 500 is rising barely on its first optimistic day in Four as know-how shares rebound

0

US stocks rose Thursday and rebounded from three consecutive days of losses as technology stocks made a comeback.

The S&P 500 gained 0.4% and the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite rose 0.7% as so-called FAANG stocks all traded higher. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 50 points.

Investors welcomed a better-than-expected report on unemployment claims Thursday. The number of initial jobless claims for the week ending May 15 was 444,000, the Labor Department reported Thursday. The economist polled by Dow Jones had expected 452,000 new claims.

Cisco’s shares fell 5% in premarket trading after the technology conglomerate released a weaker-than-expected earnings forecast for the current quarter.

The movement in futures followed a roller coaster ride on Wall Street sparked by a sudden drop in Bitcoin that resulted in a sharp sell-off in many speculative areas of the market. Cryptocurrency-related stocks, including Tesla, Coinbase and MicroStrategy, led the market decline as Bitcoin rose as much as 30% at one point on Wednesday.

After reaching nearly $ 30,000 at its low, Bitcoin made up for some of those losses later on Wednesday. The stock market closed well from its lows as Bitcoin rebounded.

On Thursday, the cryptocurrency was slightly higher at around $ 40,000, according to Coin Metrics. Coinbase stocks were higher early on the day of trading after Wedbush announced it would buy the crypto exchange despite the volatility.

“After all, crypto is the flagship for liquidity-related speculation, and the fact that it is now deflating … gives credibility to the feeling that risk markets are now gradually adjusting to the emerging prospect of peak liquidity,” a JPMorgan strategist said in a note.

The S&P 500 was down 1.6% from its session lows in the previous session, but made up most of the losses, closing just 0.3% as Bitcoin stabilized. The blue chip Dow ended the session roughly 160 points after losing 580 points at one point. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite ended the day flat, erasing a 1.7% decline.

Wednesday was the third straight day of losses for the Dow, which fell 1.4% for the week. The average lost about 1% last week as the market rebounded to highs.

On Wednesday, investors also digested the Federal Reserve’s April minutes, which indicated they might consider cutting their asset-buying programs in upcoming meetings.

“A number of participants suggested that it might be appropriate in the upcoming meetings to discuss a plan to adjust the pace of asset purchases if the economy continues to make rapid progress towards the committee’s objectives,” it said Fed Protocol.

Mischa Barton displays painful reminiscences of her early fame

Mischa Barton is ready to take the narrative back.

In February, FX released the New York Times Presents’ “Framing Britney Spears” episode, which documented the superstar’s ongoing struggle to regain control of her finances and career after her father. Jamie Spearswas appointed her restorer in 2008.

The bomb report also examined the tabloid of Britney Spears in the Aughts, a reckoning for the treatment of young female celebrities by the media at the time, including Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton. Another one you just wouldn’t leave alone? Barton.

The 17-year-old actress, who shot to the skies thanks to her breakout role as Marissa Cooper on The OC, became a paparazzi favorite in the early 2000s.

Her highs – she attended the Oscars and Golden Globes, became a Chanel brand ambassador, and landed on the cover of Glamor, Elle, and other major publications – and lows, like her hospital stays in 2007 and 2009 and her 2007 DUI arrest, all became to fodder for public consumption, entertainment and judgment.
