Jeff “The Dude” Lebowski (Jeff Bridges) spends his time smoking weed and bowling with his buddies. One night hooligans break into his house and mistake him for another Lebowski. They threaten him, and worse, they pee on his oriental rug, which really holds the room together. In search of retaliation for his soiled decor, The Dude sets out to face the other Lebowski. He begins his journey that he doesn’t know will include kidnappings, ransoms and high-ranking crime bosses. The whole film is a journey. I suggest making yourself a great white Russian and preparing a spliff before you hit play.
