A fresh wardrobe and immersion in seasonal trends are hip for many of us, but even the fastest fashion can be expensive.

But a sales expert from a discounter and an experienced bargain hunter said that their advice could save enormous amounts of money.

Hazel Wood, 25, of Essex is a finance paraplaner and it’s her job to develop monetary plans to advance Pennies.

She saved over £ 300 on her summer store and saved an average of 81% on 14 items online including clothing, makeup and even homeware.

Stuart McClure, the sales executive and co-founder of LovetheSales.com, offered his expertise and stated that the summer sale is a critical time for retailers to move inventory.

How to save money when shopping online

In total, on this advice, Hazel has spent £ 86.69 and saved £ 337.48.

Use the filters

One of the first things Hazel does on a website is just shop online from the discount pages by going to the filters section and selecting sale items by their size.

She said, “I like finding the biggest bargains available and making outfits with what I find.

“I started doing this trick about three years ago when I moved out of my parents’ house and realized the importance of stretching every pound.”

Stuart added, “Shopping from discount sites gives you the benefit of using useful tools like a discount filter.

“If you just want to see big bargains, bookmark sites that give you the ability to sort by the highest discount – slide the slider all the way up!”

Mobile apps

“Some of my biggest bargains came from the Missguided sale, where I got an additional 25% off my purchase by downloading the Missguided app,” says Hazel.

Retailers will try to get shoppers to shop by offering in-app discounts, subscription offers, and application download incentives – all of which could translate into bargain savings.

If you stay vigilant, you can spot the sales first.

First time buyer

Hazel said she could save even more by looking for first-time buyer deals – another thing to look out for when shopping for a bargain.

She said, “I was also able to save an additional 10% on my shopping cart because Pretty Little Thing also rewarded customers who ordered via the mobile app for the first time.”

Stuart said, “The savings she’s made speak for themselves.

“She is the ultimate bargain hunter.”
