Hronis Racing of Kosta, Stephanie and Pete Hronis of Delano, Calif., Were the main homeowners at the Del Mar, Calif. 2021 summer season gathering, each for cash and assorted wins on the Coastal Monitor in Del Mar, Calif.
This is the sixth time the Hronises Del Mars have been major cash owners. They did it before in 2019, 2018, 2017, 2014, and 2013.
Hronis Racing made $ 1,020,440 over the course of the season, a large portion of that – $ 600,000 in fact – when their horse Tripoli received the TVG Pacific Basic on August 21. Hronis Racing also had eight wins, essentially the most from any owner.
Second in cash received were Pink Baron’s Barn and Rancho Temescal at $ 499,951. Third was Reddam Racing for $ 442,140.
Nick Alexander and Kaleem Shah finished second in the winning class, each with seven first places.
