Instead of the usual registration deadline of April 15th, this year we have an extra month to postpone this year to May 17th. Your post-tax day plans may include drinking alcohol so you may be interested in an offer from Coors that gives away free 12-packs of their tough seltzer. Here’s what you need to know.
How do I get Hard Seltzer for free
Coors stepped into the already overcrowded hard seltzer market in October 2020 with something else: a partnership with the Change the Course initiative and a list of projects. According to the company, 500 gallons of clean water are restored for every 12 pack of their hard seltzer purchased (although it’s not entirely clear how this happens).
Either way, Coors is “giving away” free 12-packs of their tough seltzer from now through Tax Day May 17th. Technically, they’ll refund you once you buy the seltzer from your local liquor store. Here is how it works::
- Buy a pack of 12 Coors Hard Seltzer by May 17th.
- Take a picture of your receipt.
- Upload a photo of your receipt here The receipt photo must include the date of purchase, retailer location, and the name or code of the required purchase item.
- Your discount payment (maximum $ 20) will be sent to you via Venmo or PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal or Venmo account, you will need to create an account and refund the payment within 30 days. That’s the only way to get the money.
- There is a limit of one discount per phone number.
It goes without saying that you must be at least 21 years old to take advantage of the offer as this all includes purchasing alcohol. And if you are curious, the Hard Seltzer is available in four flavors: black cherry, mango, grapefruit and lemon lime.
