In a great tradition of TV shows called Charmed, one of the Charmed shows is saying goodbye.
Madeleine Mantock, who plays eldest sister Macy, is leaving the Charmed reboot of CW after three seasons. The third season finale, which will air on Friday July 23rd, will be Mantocks last. TVLine was the first to report the news and offered a statement from the outgoing actress.
“Playing Macy on Charmed for the past three seasons has been a huge privilege and I’ve enjoyed working with our amazing producers, creatives, cast and crew,” said Mantock. “I am incredibly grateful to The CW and CBS Studios for my time on the show and for brilliantly supporting me in my difficult decision to leave. A big thank you to our fans for looking at what I know can be a spectacular “fourth season.”
The show’s executive producers also posted a statement on Twitter.
