New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson offered his mom money to delete her Instagram, but Lisa Wilson says she won’t give in to internet trolls.
The rookie’s mom posted a video on social media on Friday to reveal that Wilson has asked her in the past to remove her Instagram after being the target of ridicule, especially when she saw Disney’s mask policy World criticized May.

“People out there who think I’m embarrassing my son – did he ask me to turn off my social media? He intends to. And he says, ‘Mom, when it comes to money, I’ll give you money.’ I said, ‘Zach, I don’t need your money,’ ”she said on her post.

“He says, ‘Mom, you don’t embarrass me, but I can’t stand these people treating my mother like crap.’ And I said, ‘Zach you know what? If you’ve seen the news I get every day from women who have started exercising again. Women who are learning to cook for the first time. Women who change their relationship with their husbands. Women who tell me they only get up because of my Instagram. The only thing stopping them from taking a handful of pills is because something I said that day resonated with them. ‘ I refuse to let these people down. I can take the heat. Bring it on.”
Lisa Wilson runs a lifestyle-like Instagram account where she shares her personal life and tips with her 27,000+ followers, but she previously heated up over some of the things she shared.

Back in May, she made her account private after posting a long swear word on her Instagram stories, complaining about COVID-19 mask guidelines at Disney World, and calling officials “mask holes”.
Most recently, she released a hard PSA to the person or people who allegedly stole their handbag at a wedding, calling the thieves “d-ks”.
New York fans have a reputation for showing no mercy – on and off the field. It looks like Wilson is ready to do whatever it takes to avoid the media circus as much as possible.
