On August 26, the singer shared an Instagram tribute in honor Jim Moore after his demise. “See you forever,” Pink labeled two photos of her dancing with her father, one as a young girl and then again as an adult.
Although Jim’s cause of death is unknown, it was only a year ago that Pink confirmed that her father was undergoing chemotherapy after being diagnosed with prostate cancer. In July 2020, the 41-year-old said he had completed his second round of treatment when he broke his back and fell off a ladder.
Despite having an operation, Pink wrote on Instagram that he was “smiling. Making jokes. So that everyone else feels better.”
“Ten hours later he’s already back to his old tricks, talking about napalm and snipers and viruses and puddles of blood,” she wrote at the time. “Oh dad. How great it is to see you whistle through hell.”
