As a pop culture fanatic, there’s nothing more exciting than learning what to expect from your favorite celebrity couple. But the real excitement, of course, lies in the name they give their little bundle of joy. But our fascination with celebrity baby names is nothing new.
Just think back to 2004 when Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin introduced the world Apple Martin and the frenzy that followed. Since then, stars have equally, if not more, picked unique monikers for their kids, making it a trend.
But the Apple name was quickly dethroned Suri when Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes welcomed her daughter in 2006. Last May we welcomed X Æ A-12– –his Name is inspired by parents Elon Musk and Grimes’ Love of science and space – in our colloquial language.
And after Bachelor Nation Krystal Nielson gave birth on March 31, we celebrated her and her boyfriend Miles Bowles‘Daughter Andara Rose.
