Add a few towels first, then add baking soda and vinegar, then add a few more towels, then add more baking soda and vinegar, and so on. After you complete the layering, turn on the rinse and spin cycles with hot water, but stop the wash before the water is gone. Leave the laundry on for four hours and then wash it as usual. Be careful not to use detergent or fabric softener as it will affect your progress. the vinegar does the cleaning and softening by itself.
