The first thing to check is that your Apple Watch battery status is below average. Go to on your Apple Watch Settings> Battery> Battery Health and see if it’s below 80%. If so, consider getting Apple battery service. On the same page, check that Optimized charging of the battery activated. It’s on by default, so most shouldn’t have to worry here. However, if it is disabled, then it should be enabled to reduce battery aging.
Another thing to check is if your watch is suddenly running out of battery. Go to the clock Settings> Battery and check the graph to see if there are any sudden drops. You can try to correlate this with what you were using the device for at the time so that you can determine if you need to do something differently.
