The movie trailer has an art, although not everyone who builds a trailer is an artist. The best thing to do is tell us a story about the movie we’re supposed to watch, to tell us exactly why we’re spending our precious movie dollars and running to the movies for a few hours (and / or throwing $ 30 Disney + for an evening) .

For a great movie, you can simply put together some of the movie’s most impressive shots, behind which a haunting version of a pop song is playing and voilà – bum in the seats. And sometimes there is a thorough deception to suggest that the film will be something completely different from what it actually is.

Here are some really great trailers from movies that are restless, deeply headstrong, niche, or just plain bad.
