Every person who is vaccinated brings us one tiny step closer to a world with less COVID. So it’s good news Protection from the disease begins before you have your second dose and the The vaccine appears to be safe and effective in children. But we all still have many questions and I would like to hear yours.
The CDC’s official council What you can do after vaccination leaves a lot of gaps and gray areas. My own friends and family have raised a number of dilemmas over the past few weeks. Should children still wear masks when playing together if all adults in their life are vaccinated? Is it safer to fly now than it used to be? What should you do if you are vaccinated but are at high risk, or if you are vaccinated but live with someone who is at high risk?
For upcoming installments from Vaccine Watch, I want to ask experts your real-life questions about things that are not addressed or are not clear in the official advice. Are you negotiating vacation rules for a family that includes vaccinated and unvaccinated people? Do you make a list of the things you want to do once you get the vaccine? Wondering, now that all of your friends are vaccinated, are opportunities opening up when you aren’t?
Ask your questions in the comments below or email me at elizabeth.skwarecki@lifehacker.com with the subject line COVID QUESTION and I will pester experts for their opinions on all the things you wonder about.
