After earning a lot of attention on American Idol, Claudia Conway is just getting started.
The 16-year-old contestant completed her performance on the ABC competition series during Hollywood Week duet rounds, which aired Monday, March 22nd. Claudia, whose parents are former parents Donald Trump Consultant Kellyanne Conway and top-class lawyer George Conwayhad hopefully teamed up with other musicians Hannah Everhart list Harry Styles‘ “Sign of time.”
Although they got off to a rocky start during rehearsals, Claudia and Hannah seemed to build a friendship throughout the trip. After her performance, Claudia was sent home while Hannah went on to the next round.
“You’re just coming to life – I can see it in you,” Richter Katy Perry said Claudia during her assessment. “And you take control of your life and I salute you for it. Claudia, this will be the end of the American Idol journey for now.”
Claudia smiled and thanked her. Katy added, “I hope you learned a lot and I hope you will come and see us again.”
