Prepare for an unforgettable night!

Although this year’s 63rd annual Grammy Awards will have to look different in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, organizers will soon be proving that music has the power to unite us from the comfort of our own homes.

From a huge series of appearances by Cardi B. and Dua Lipa to Harry Styles and Miranda LambertThere is an artist for everyone. And although Silk Sonic (consists Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak) was not intended to be performed on the original, the Grammys added the group to the night of memorable performances.

Trevor Noah will host the event and be accompanied by independent event staff affected by the ongoing pandemic to give awards throughout the night.

Among the first-time nominees are Travis Scott, BTS and Doja Cat. Mikey Guyton also makes history as the first black woman to be nominated as a solo country artist. As for BeyoncéShe leads the night with nine nominations, followed by Taylor Swift, Roddy Rich and Dua Lipa, each with six nominations.

The awards show is also expected to recognize ongoing creative collaborations in music despite the impact of COVID-19 on the industry, and also highlight movements for social justice.
