Well, the pandemic is still going on, but there’s a new chicken sandwich on the block – this time from McDonald’s. The best part is that this time you want to try one out, you don’t even have to leave your home. Oh and The chicken sandwich could be free. Here’s what to know.
What’s new about this chicken sandwich?
Right now, you probably have a lot of questions, including, “Wait, doesn’t McDonald’s have a chicken sandwich on the menu?” In fact, they did (and still do). It is called that McChicken (Sure), and the fast food chain describes it as “a wonderfully crispy chicken fillet topped with mayonnaise, crushed iceberg lettuce and a perfectly roasted bun”.
But the new sandwich (i.e., the one created to rival Popeyes’) is called that Crispy chicken sandwichand according to McDonald’s, a Mediterranean-style fried chicken sandwich is perfect, crispy, juicy and tender. It is topped with crinkle-cut cucumbers and served on a new roasted, buttered potato roll. “There is also a” spicy “version (which comes with a spicy pepper sauce) and a” deluxe “version (which comes with grated lettuce, tomatoes and mayo).
