In this exclusive clip from tonight, the brand new episode of New Amsterdam on April 6th, Dr. Helen Sharpe (Freema Agyeman) blinds himself to work news while dealing with a family matter. As fans of the show know, Helen deals with the aftermath of her brother’s death, including helping her niece Mina (Nadia Affolter) find a place to live.
But as the above exclusive clip shows, Mina is not satisfied with Helen’s move to move. “How could you do this to me ?!” Helen’s niece rings. “I’m not going to Dubai.”
Helen is shocked by the call and replies, “Mina, just give me a second to catch …”
Before Helen can finish her sentence, Mina cuts her off, who reveals that she has “a whole life” in which she finds herself. “If you had bothered to call after my father died, you would know,” Mina continues. “Do you know how far Dubai is from Tehran?”
