The final report from the Federal Election Commission says the 43-year-old contributed nearly $ 12.5 million in his personal finances for his run.
In total, he raised $ 14.5 million during the election cycle that began on July 4, 2020 during his infamous South Carolina political rally that collapsed on stage.
However, his offer ended just four months later, and $ 1.3 million was still in the bank. The numbers spent on the campaign total over $ 13.2 million.
Over 3,000 people have contributed $ 2 million as government records specify exactly where the money is going.
