Lana tweeted: “Wake up … your Asian friends and family are deeply scared, horrified, stomach sick and wildly angry. Please, please, drop by us, please, please, please stand with us. Please. Your Asian friend needs you even if they don’t mourn publicly on social media. ”

Her emotional plea spread across social media and currently has more than 150,000 likes.

When the fans sent Lana loving and supportive responses, the 23-year-old followed her tweet with a thank you letter. “You don’t know how much your kind words mean to me right now,” she wrote with a crying emoji and a heart emoji. “I love you so much, wow.”
