For over a year now, the home lifestyle has become the norm for many Americans, so we have to upgrade our rooms to serve a dual purpose. Some very creative makeshift desks and home office spaces emerged during the pandemic, few more fascinating than that Car table.
It sounds like an accident waiting to happen, but when used correctly (and safely) they can be a convenient way to turn your front or back seat into a desk. And given that many of us still feel unsafe about parking our laptops in a coffee shop for eight hours, it may be just what you need to find a truly dedicated workspace.
Steering wheel desk
Most of the options for the car table are available in the form of a steering wheel attachment that can be attached to the lower part of the steering wheelThis creates a lap desk feeling for your vehicle / office. This workspace works well when you’re on the go and have some work items to do before heading to your next appointment. Simply park, attach the attachment, complete the e-mail or presentation, remove it and get started. In the same way, it can make eating in the car a lot more enjoyable.
Another option is attached to the steering wheel aboveCreate a raised desk for easier typing. This also leaves more space for your legs. So if you are a taller person, this is a more convenient option.
Passenger side
A Desk caddy In the passenger seat, your car turns into a legitimate office. The caddy can hold files, pens, and other gadgets, and the top can be pivoted outward toward the driver’s seat, making it easy for you to type, so theoretically you can spend a full day in your car. Like the inclined steering wheel desk, it’s perfect when you need a change of scene or just a few hours in a semi-private work area (as long as no one who walks by becomes curious about what you’re doing in your car).

Back seat desk
If someone else is driving you around, a desk in the back seat can help you get the job done from the street. These desks are connected to that Back of the front seatand are adjustable to work at different heights. Some designs even come with it Cup holder and elegant wood grain. I don’t recommend working while (someone else) is driving to someone who is prone to motion sickness, as even a bit of typing while moving can derail your entire day.
