Piers Morgan says his sons have been molested online and even received threats of violence from Twitter trolls amid his comments Meghan MarkleHe last criticized after her and Prince HarryInterview with Oprah Winfrey.
Piers, a longtime critic of the couple and supporter of Queen Elizabeth the second, recently quit his job as co-host of Good Morning Britain after throwing back on his recent remarks about the Duchess of Sussex who made shocking allegations against the monarchy on the CBS Tell All special last month.
“I’ve always subscribed to the philosophy,” If you hand it out, you must take it, “wrote Piers, Editor-at-Large of DailyMail.com, in an email on Sunday March 28th. “But my three sons told me they are all being targeted too, and sent me screenshots of toxic abuse and threats of violence against them that turned my stomach upside down, especially since the police are already investigating a death threat against me and my oldest boy Spencer Last month.”
Piers, who has three grown sons and a 9-year-old daughter, continued, “None of them care about Meghan Markle, let alone my views on her. Yet the Twitter troll mob through association found her guilty. One Troll vowed to murder me in front of them, adding, ‘If your father dies, the world will have a party.’ ”
