LIONEL MESSI was reportedly offered by Paris Saint-Germain to reunite him with Neymar.
The 34-year-old is currently a free agent after his contract with Barcelona expired on July 1.

However, it is understood that the Argentina international signed a new five-year deal at Nou Camp, with official announcement expected shortly.
The news will be a blow to Brazilian striker Neymar, who wanted to play with the six-time Ballon d’Or winner again.
Neymar – who was recently caught with Messi in Ibiza – spent four seasons in Catalonia, where he won the La Liga title twice and the Champions League once.
And according to the journalist from TNT Sports and Radio Italia, Marcelo Bechler, Les Parisiens tried unsuccessfully to get Messi into the Parc des Princes.
He tweeted: “PSG were very confident and wanted Messi very much.
“They offered him everything that money could buy. Neymar was dying to play with his idol again.
“Messi wants to stay in the club of his life.”
It has been alleged that Messi’s wages could be cut by up to 80 percent as Barca struggled financially due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking of Messi’s future earlier this week, Blaugrana President Joan Laporta said: “We’re doing what we can.
“It’s not fully resolved yet, but it’s going well and in line with what we all thought.
“We will do everything we can to keep Messi going, as much as the club can.
“We have a lot of options because we have a player who wants to keep going.”
