We’re not the only ones who have had a hard time last year; Our houses have also been through a lot. Lots of people have basically been home for a year without a break – and no office visit, no socializing with friends, and no leisurely errands over the course of an afternoon mean the place looks rough.
In addition to the added wear and tear, some of us went out of our way to clean up and organize this past spring, assuming our pre-pandemic life would resume sooner rather than later. And then maybe after the marathon quaran clean we lost interest and started letting things slide and now it’s a year later and the place is rougher than ever.
