AS House spokeswoman Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats are working hard to get the Covid Aid laws on Joe Biden’s desk. Americans will wonder how much their families will get.
House spokeswoman Nancy Pelosi has promised that Democrats will attempt to pass the next coronavirus relief law before the end of the month. This means a third $ 1,400 stimulus check could be just weeks away.

Details of the proposed third stimulus test
Pelosi said the House hopes to give the package the green light “as soon as possible” before March 14th.
According to a MoneyWise report, how much your family will get this time depends on an IRS formula.
The current proposal is $ 1,400 for each adult in your household and an additional $ 1,400 for each dependent, regardless of age.
Who will qualify for the next stimulus check?
The IRS will use your most recent tax return to determine if you are eligible for a stimulus review.
The main focus is on your adjusted gross income or your pre-taxable income.
Under the current plan coming together in the house, the $ 1,400 payment amounts for individuals would expire for those whose gross income is more than $ 75,000.
The threshold was $ 112,500 for heads of household and $ 150,000 for married couples filing together.
House Democrats reportedly considered restricting eligibility to full payment to those earning less than $ 50,000.
While they decided against it, the Senate could bring the idea back.
In contrast, Republicans had pushed for lower income limits to ensure checks went only to the neediest Americans.
The US Bureau of Labor Statistics found that Americans’ use of the initial $ 1,200 stimulus checks varied based on income.
Poor households mostly spent the money on basic necessities such as food and rent.
Others used some of the money for investments, savings or to pay off debts, according to a survey by the bureau.
This time more families will get money
Under current plans for the third batch of stimulus checks, families who met relevant income requirements would receive $ 1,400 for each household member, including age-dependent individuals.
This was a significantly different approach than in the previous two rounds, in which money was only paid to relatives under the age of 17.
The families received $ 500 per child on the first checks. Round 2 increased that amount to $ 600.
Of the incoming checks, $ 7,000 goes to a family of five that included two parents and three children who would have received $ 3,000 in the final second round.
And families with loved ones who were disqualified in the last two checks would see an even bigger bump.
A family of two parents, a young child, and an 18-year-old would receive $ 5,600 this time, up from just $ 1,800 in Round 2.
If the bill passes and everything goes according to plan, Biden is expected to sign it in March – which means the IRS could send the checks out just days later.
Increase in unemployment benefits
Unemployment benefits are also included in Biden’s stimulus package, providing an emergency boost to families with children.
Unemployment benefits will be increased to $ 400 per week.
In an interview with CNN on Tuesday, February 16, Biden defended his proposed spending bill and the next round of $ 1,400 stimulus checks, saying, “Now is the time to make it big.”

“Economists, left, right, and center agree that there is an overwhelming consensus on growing the economy. We can’t over-spend,” Biden said.
He added, “Now is the time we should be. Now is the time to grow up.”
