Unlike some other travel experts, Lynn doesn’t advocate package tours in the current climate.
“I would also warn people to stay away from package tours at the moment, as refunds and rebooking can be difficult when it is a ‘middleman’ and not directly with the hotels and flight operators themselves,” he said.
Anyone with a trip to the diary should stick to the booking and see how the country is at the time.
That way, you can potentially make good savings.
“If you’ve already booked a spring vacation, I would advise not to cancel your trip, but if the terms and conditions allow, hold on until just ahead of time,” said Lynn.
“If a vacation is not possible then, postpone your flight to a later date, when things will hopefully be settled.
