However, if you received money for someone who died or a dependent someone else claims for their taxes, you are expected to refund the additional amount, the point of sale reported.

The IRS will also recalculate “plus-up” adjustments and send them – the missing stimulus amounts from the previous two checks – as credit towards your taxes that year.

This means that you don’t have to wait until you file your tax return next year to claim the missing amounts.

Social Security Income (SSI) recipients should receive their third stimulus checks by Wednesday. Around four million checks with a total value of more than 10 billion are planned.

The checks are sent to around 30 million social security takers who do not have to file taxes.

The news of the payment date was first shared at a press conference last week by White House press secretary Jen Psaki.

You can request payment tracking if you believe your Stimulus Check has been destroyed, lost, or stolen.
