Village administrator Jarrod Grimm also stated in his report that the village is currently struggling to get yellow-red-white street paint. Apparently, the suppliers only sell the paints to federal and state transportation officials due to a lack of some of the polymers. However, he hopes they can get their back-ordered paint in about six weeks.

Fiscal Officer Hoi Wah also stated that by advocating an emergency resolution approving the terms of a July 21 National Opioid Settlement Agreement, attorneys stated that Wellsville, which has been particularly hard hit by the opioid crisis, is expected to leave between Nov. . the settlement.

The mayor approved Hoi Wah’s earlier acceptance of the letter of intent on August 12th, having received the papers a few days before the due date. The council officially passed the law about five days later during that meeting.

In another promotion, Chris Amato was appointed to Hammond Park’s Board of Commissioners and members paid $ 8,122 bills, including $ 8,000 for a new 18-hole disc golf course in Hammond Park.

Councilor Mike Lombardozzi was excused at Tuesday’s meeting.

After a short board meeting to discuss staff, no action was taken.
