Vodafone Idea, also known as Vi, has developed an offering that provides unlimited high-speed data for the night at no additional cost. It is known as the “Binge All-Night Offer” and offers unlimited free dates between noon and 6am. This offer is only available to users who purchase prepaid plans from Rs 249. The night data offer is already live on the official website.
Vi customers have to download and browse a lot of content from various OTT platforms as there are no data restrictions. The prepaid plans from Rs 249 already offer a possibility of rollover of weekend dates, which means that the unused dates are carried over to the weekend. In addition, some of the prepaid top-up plans also offer duplicate dates.
“The night on the Internet and at OTT is increasing, especially since people work flexibly and remotely and give out more time-consuming content. To meet this demand, Vi has announced unlimited high-speed nighttime data – with no restrictions and at no additional cost to its prepaid customers, ”the company said.
The 249 prepaid plan includes unlimited calls and 1.5 GB of daily data for 28 days. The company will provide an additional 5 GB of data if you top up using the company’s MyVi app. Other plans like the Rs 299 recharge plan include unlimited talk time and 4GB of data per day and are valid for 28 days. Vi also has a Rs 449 prepaid plan that offers unlimited calling benefits and 4GB of daily data for 56 days.
“Patterns of consumption by consumer segments such as youth indicate higher data consumption during the night. Vi aims to bring more value to its unlimited users with this industry-first offering that has the dual benefits of unlimited high-speed night data and weekend data rollovers. The new initiative also aims to increase network stickiness and attract new users to our network, ”said Vi.
The Rs 599 top-up plan also offers unlimited talk time, 1.5 GB of data per day and 5 GB of additional data. This plan is valid for 84 days. Users must purchase this plan through the MyVi app to get 5 GB of additional data.
There’s a Rs 699 prepaid Vodafone plan that includes 4GB of daily data and unlimited calls for 84 days.
